Men’s Fertility Matters.
I’m here to help you take control.
A Decade on the Front Lines
I’m Alex Hardy, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), Certified Fertility Dietitian, and Foundations Member of the Early Life Nutrition Alliance. With over a decade of clinical experience, I founded Axis Dietetics to help men — and their partners — take charge of their reproductive health and give future families the healthiest start possible.
For more than ten years working in tertiary hospitals, I saw how health — and illness — can shape lives. Too often, people arrived only once damage was done. I became determined to intervene earlier.
That search led me to one of the most fascinating discoveries of my career.
A Turning Point: The First 1,000 Days
A turning point for me was discovering research on the first 1,000 days of life — from preconception to a child’s second birthday — and how powerfully nutrition and epigenetics shape lifelong health. Equally striking was a fact too often overlooked: male factors contribute to around half of all fertility challenges.
This opened my eyes to a significant gap in fertility care, particularly for men.
Men Need Dedicated Support
Despite the critical role of male factors, everywhere I looked, fertility services focused on women. Men were rarely part of the conversation, let alone offered tailored support. I wanted to change that.
As part of a global network of fertility dietitians, I recognised a gap for services focused solely on men. That’s why I decided to create something new: a space where men are seen, respected, and supported.
My Mission with Axis Dietetics
I founded Axis Dietetics to empower men to take charge of their fertility, pursue their dreams of becoming dads, and give the next generation the healthiest start in life. I believe every man deserves the guidance and knowledge to confidently shape his path to fatherhood.
Outside of work, I’m a dad who loves the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and cooking — especially meals made from the fish I’ve caught and the fresh ingredients I’ve harvested. I value staying connected to sustainable sources of food and love sharing this with my kids. I believe good health should help us live life with energy and purpose.
If you’re ready to take charge of your reproductive health — or simply want to explore your options — I’m here to help. Curious about how I can help? Book a free clarity call and let’s talk about your goals.
